The Boars had ended a four-match winless run with a 4-1 victory at struggling Epsom Athletic the previous weekend, but they were brought back down to earth on their travels.
The hosts opened the scoring when Damian Shury followed up a fine Jamie Redrup shot before placing the ball into the Eversley net.
Llamas went further ahead thanks to Adam Turner, and were able to hang on to a clean sheet to help them leapfrog the Boars in the table.
Staines’ Stuart Bamford was man-of-the-match.
Eversley & California now sit in ninth place in the table, although they could climb to sixth if they win their remaining two games and other results go their way.
Sam Waters’ side host Bedfont & Feltham this coming Saturday (3pm) before Cobham visit on Saturday, April 25 (3pm).
