Conor Harlowe’s consolation goal was insufficient for Paul Harkness’ men, who remain rock bottom with just two games left to play, seven points adrift of third-bottom Alton Town.
The victory for the Boars keeps them in sixth place, with no real prospect of promotion or relegation. They still have a further eight games to play.
Sandhurst were due to visit Chessington & Hook United last night, but do not have a game this weekend.
Eversley were set to host Alton Town yesterday, before welcoming Dorking to the ESA Sports Ground on Saturday (3pm).
l SANDHURST had previously given themselves hope of avoiding the drop by snatching a thrilling 3-2 win at fellow strugglers Epsom Athletic last Wednesday.
The victory – just the sixth of the season for the Fizzers – came on the back of goals from Alex Jeffers, Barry Chapman and James Powell. Matthew Cornish and Neil Craven were on target for the hosts.
