Coaches and players held a moving tribute in memory of Bracknell dad Mark who passed away recently, aged 50 Fittingly, Adam went on to win the man--of-the-match award after scoring a superb goal in Bracknell’s 6–2 win against Windsor FC Swallow Knights.

Charlie Proudlove also scored a hat-trick while James Bygrave and Ethan Brock netted a goal apiece.

Wokingham & Emmbrook Girls crashed 3–1 at Binfield Girls in the U14s Berks County Girls League.

Wokingham could only field eight players instead of nine, but they put up a strong fight against tough oppsition.

Binfield took the lead but Wokingham equalised thanks to Anna O’Leary’s 33rd goal of the season.

She reacted quickest to a long through ball from Julie Mortimer and fired home to continue her record of scoring in all 14 matches this season.

However, Binfield secured the victory thanks to two more goals in the second half to leapfrog Wokingham into second place in the table.

In East Berks Football Alliance U14s Division One, Wokingham & Embrook Black were beaten 5–1 by Flackwell Heath Minors.

Wokingham suffered bad luck with injuries as Rhys Williams and his replacement, Jack Boxley, were both forced off in the first half.

Calum Woodfield gave Wokingham hope when he finished well from a Sam Jones pass to make it 2–1. But they also lost keeper Will Sumner to injury and, despite a man-of-the-match display from Michael Valdambrini, they crashed to defeat.

In East Berks Football Alliance U12s Division Three, Berks County Leopards lost 4–0 at AFC Henley Hurricanes.

Eversley & California U15s went joint top of the Oxford Mail Youth League Division A with a 3–1 win over Southcote Colts.

A Paolo Giamattei penalty put Eversley ahead and, after Southcote had equalised, the same player scored again for a 2–1 lead.

Eversley added a third late on thanks to a fine finish from man-of-the-match Freddie Maddock, pictured below.
