Although they are only three points behind Epsom Athletic, they are 10 adrift of third-bottom Alton Town, with both of those sides having at least three games in hand on the Fizzers.

Paul Harkness’ men have just four matches remaining – with three of them in the coming week.

The Fizzers travel to Epsom Athletic tonight (7.45pm), host neighbours Eversley & California on Saturday (3pm) and visit Chessington & Hook next Tuesday (7.45pm).

l EVERSLEY & California remain in mid-table after slipping to a 2-1 reverse at fifth-placed CB Hounslow United in their Combined Counties League Division One clash on Saturday.

The defeat leaves Sam Waters’ men in sixth place in the table, six points behind their opponents but with four games in hand.

The Boars welcome Alton Town to the ESA Sports ground next Tuesday (7.30pm).
