Bracknell’s batsmen had a poor day at the crease after being shot out for 108 in 32 overs by BA’s accurate bowling attack.

Bracknell tried their best to defend their meagre total and it was far from easy for the visitors who lost six wickets during their run chase.

But Bracknell, who were missing skipper Ian Shaw, simply did not have enough runs on the board and BA got home eventually on 113-6 in the 31st over to secure the win.

Bracknell hope to find a response this Saturday when they travel to West Berkshire to face basement club Falkland 3rds.

l BRACKNELL 2nds lost ground on Division 9a leaders Stoke Green 3rds in the title race.

Bracknell’s match at Thatcham 4ths was cancelled due to the weather without a ball being bowled.

However, Stoke Green dodged the rain and chalked up a 20-point win over Yateley 4ths.

The win leaves Stoke Green 27 points clear of second-placed Bracknell 2nds who travel to Datchet Cranbourne this Saturday.
