FORMER New Zealand cricketer Hamish Marshall put in a guest appearance at Berkshire Cricket League's presentation evening.

Division One winners Woodley collect their awards from Hamish Marshall, far right.

The 33-year-old Kiwi and Gloucestershire player handed out the trophies as the cream of the BCL were honoured for their contributions over the season.

Marshall also made a memorable speech and mingled with league members at the lavish dinner at Goring & Streatley Golf Club last Friday.

League results secretary and Stoke Row player Richard Ashton said: "We had an excellent turnout and the evening was a great success.

"Hamish was a real star. He entertained everyone and it was a great honour to have him there.

"A big congratulations must also go to all the players who made this season another memorable one in the Berkshire Cricket League."
