BRACKNELL CC skipper Ian Caffell believes his side's fate will be decided on the final day of the season after they climbed out of the relegation zone with victory on Saturday.

Their thumping 10-wicket win over Odiham & Greywell has seen them move up to seventh in Thames Valley Division 4b.

"The last couple of weeks have certainly boosted our esteem and moral is important in any team. I'm glad the guys are showing some fight and have some hunger for victory," said Caffell.

"Robbie Robinson has been bowling well all season without much success but on Saturday he produced his best figures for the club so far, 6-21, as he ripped through their top order.

"We have some tough matches ahead of us, though, and it will all be decided on the last game of the season as to whether we will avoid relegation."

Up next for Bracknell is a trip to Hurst this Saturday (12.30pm).
