WOKINGHAM CC skipper Dan Reddyhough admitted his teams's recent form is 'disappointing' after they went down by seven wickets against High Wycombe 2nds on Saturday.

The loss is Wokingham's third defeat in four matches since the weather-enforced two-week break and ends any lingering hopes they had of catching Thames Valley Division One leaders Reading.

"We started the season well and everyone was getting runs in the top order, even if they didn't get into triple figures. But we haven't had that recently, since the rain break our batsmen have failed to get significant scores after making starts," he said.

"The form is there but we are not just getting the runs, it's not a concern but it's disappointing. The other issue is we are losing wickets in clusters and not building many partnerships, that has not helped us at all."

Up next for Wokingham is a home match against Amersham on Saturday (12.30pm).
