HEAVY downpours decimated most of the Thames Valley Cricket League programme at the weekend.
No Bracknell team was able to play their matches, as sharp showers on Saturday, coupled with already-damp pitches, ended all hopes of any cricket being played.
Finchampstead's trip to Basingstoke & North Hants was cancelled as was Wokingham's match against Kew in Division One.
Both teams will be hoping for better weather this weekend as they take each other on in a replay of the season opener at Sadler's End (1pm).
The Division 2a encounter between Finchampstead 2nds and Eversley was called off with Eversley travelling to Basingstoke & North Hants 2nds this Saturday.
Royal Ascot's match with Gerrards Cross 2nds was also cancelled without a ball being bowled. James Summer's team will be aiming to make up ground on the top four next weekend when they travel to bottom-of-the-table Maidenhead & Bray 2nds.
Surprisingly, there were two matches played in Division 4b but Bracknell's Larges Lane pitch was deemed too waterlogged to host Cove 2nds. However, they will be looking to arrest their disappointing form by taking valuable points at Eversley 2nds on Saturday (1pm).
