It is now six wins from seven in Hellenic Premier Division for Keith Pennicott-Bowen’s men, who sit eighth in the table.
The game was competetive and Bracknell were twice pegged back before securing all three points to ensure it will be a very happy Christmas at Larges Lane.
Evanson fired home early on to give the Robins the lead, but the visitors were threatening themselves and twice hit the post in the early exchanges.
They eventually drew level 10 minutes before half-time when Michael Watson could only divert the ball into his own net.
It was Bracknell’s first own goal they’d conceded all season but they regained the lead before the break through a wonderful Kennie Chamberlain strike.
The game was end-to-end and the visitors drew level just 10 minutes into the second-half, though again it didn’t last long.
Evanson was superb throughout in the absence of the suspended Shane Cooper-Clark and he grabbed his second of the game with just under 30 minutes remaining.
It looked like he had missed the chance when he failed to connect well but then volleyed home at the second attempt to seal victory for the Robins.
Bracknell travel to Binfield on Monday (7.45pm), looking to continue their fantastic recent form.
