The triumph was Bracknell’s third in four games this season and they sit second in the table ahead of a trip to Phoenix & Ranelagh on Saturday (11.30am).

Bracknell 2nds recorded an excellent away win at Henley 3rds in Division Four thanks to a pair of goals from in-form attacker Tom Scott (pictured right) and Rob Badley’s strike.

They are sixth in the division with two wins from three after their success against Brunel University earlier in the campaign was erased with their opponents leaving the league.

The side will look to continue their winning run when they host Phoenix & Ranelagh 2nds this Saturday (3pm).

In Division Eight, Bracknell 3rds slipped to a third defeat in four games but put up a commendable effort against unbeaten league leaders Banbury Piranhas before they succumbed to a 2-0 reverse.

In the same league there was better news for Bracknell Terriors who picked up a convinving 4-1 victory at struggling Oxford 7ths to put themselves fifth in the early-season table.

The 3rds travel to Sonning 5ths as they aim to get back on the winning trail on Saturday (3pm), while the Terriors host unbeaten second-placed side Reading Rovers (1.30pm).

Alice Rolfe’s goal for Aylesbury Ladies 1sts consigned Bracknell 1sts to just a second Three Counties Premier League One defeat of the season as they fell to a 1-0 reverse last Saturday.

The team - who are fifth in the table - face a daunting challenge as they aim to return to winning ways when they welcome unbeaten table toppers Buckingham 2nds to Birch Hill Recreation Ground on Saturday (3pm).

Bracknell 2nds suffered a 3-0 defeat at Abingdon 2nds in Division Three.
