Henri Sandvik and Aaron Nell netted powerplay goals either side of a Jan Bendik strike to put Wildcats 2-1 ahead at the first buzzer.
Neither side could add to the scoreline in the second stanza but Sam Oakford fired past Stevie Lyle at 44.16 to level the match.
Wildcats soon regained the lead through Ollie Betteridge, only for Shaun Thompson to make it 3-3 from close range.
But two goals in 33 seconds from Nell and Jonas Hoog put Wildcats in charge of the encounter with six minutes remaining.
They wrapped up the win with a sixth from Nell after Bees pulled netminder Tom Annetts.
Up next for Bees is a home match with Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday (6pm f/o) before a trip to Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday (5.30pm f/o).
