SHAUN Thompson scored once in every period over the weekend to help Bracknell Bees pick up three points from their clashes with Guildford Flames and Telford Tigers.
Having lost four of their last five matches in the English Premier Ice Hockey League, Bees returned to form in a thrilling clash at Guildford on Saturday.
Although never ahead in the game, Bees were also never out of it and snatched a point thanks to a last-minute strike from Pavel Strycek that made it 6-6.
Thompson netted a hat-trick and Martin Masa and Lukas Smital were also on target.
Flames went on to edge it 7-6 in overtime but Bees followed it up with a 6-3 win over Telford on Sunday.
Along with another treble from Thompson, there were two goals from Smital and one from Scott Spearing.
Bees face a double header with play-off rivals Peterborough Phantoms this weekend, travelling away on Saturday (7pm f/o) and returning home
Sunday (6pm f/o).
