BRACKNELL Bees head coach Gareth Cox is targeting a return to the top half of the English Premier Ice Hockey League after seeing his side record their first four-point weekend in two months.
Home and away wins against Swindon Wildcats saw Bees close to within a point of their sixth-placed rivals and also cut the gap to Slough Jets to five points.
The challenge now for Cox's men - who iced a full-strength squad for the first time since November on Saturday - is to go on the kind of winning run that has evaded them so far this season.
"Last weekend was big for us, it was just what we needed after a difficult run," he told the News.
"We are still aiming at Slough, they are five points ahead, which is only a couple of wins. We have to play them a few more times and we will keep going and try to get as high as we can."
