BRACKNELL Bees got their 2012/13 English Premier Ice Hockey League season up and running with a hugely impressive four-point weekend.
After back-to-back defeats on the opening weekend, Bees bounced back in perfect style as they won at Sheffield Steeldogs and they beat Basingstoke Bison.
Matt Foord, Lukas Smital, Rob Lamey and Shaun Thompson netted the goals as Bees beat Steeldogs 4-2 on Saturday evening - their first win in the Steel City since January 2010.
And Bees followed it up with a 3-2 success over Bison, with Martin Masa scoring twice and Marcel Petran also on target.
Bees host Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday (6pm f/o) and then travel to Guildford Flames on Sunday (6pm f/o).
