SCOTT Spearing has committed to Bracknell Bees for the 2012/13 English Premier Ice Hockey League campaign.
The 28-year-old forward is a product of the junior development programme in Bracknell and started his current stint with Bees midway through the 2010/11 season.
In 284 career EPIHL games, Spearing has scored 44 goals and gained 45 assists, picking up 586 penalty minutes.
Bees head coach Gareth Cox said: "Scott is another key re-signing and a number of our rivals were keen to take him this summer. Lukas and I have worked with Scott for a long time and are really appreciative of everything he brings both on the ice and in the changing room.
"He is a leader, is a positive influence, is superb at keeping his team mates spirits up, but most importantly is one of the league's best agitators. He really is 'Marmite' - you love him on your team, but hate him on the opposition. I'm so pleased that he's with us again this season."
