BRACKNELL Bees beat Swindon Wildcats 4-3 to secure back-to-back home wins at The Hive on Sunday night.
Although the first period was an end-to-end affair, it was only in the final minute that the home side were able to take the lead, Frantisek Bakrlik finishing from a Milan Kostourek assist.
Bees doubled their lead in the 29th minute when Kostourek struck, and they moved into a dominant position almost immediately afterwards when the in-form forward made it 3-0, Vanya Antonov and Matt Towalski involved in the build-up.
The visitors fought back bravely, though, and cut the gap thanks to goals from Carlo Finucciand and Lee Richardson.
However, Bees ensured they held a two-goal lead by the end of the stanza, Matt Foord forcing home a rebound following a David Savage shot.
Kostourek and Antonov came close early in the third period, but it was the Wildcats who gave themselves hope when Jonas Hoog beat Alex Mettam to make it 4-3 with more than 12 minutes remaining.
However, that was to be the last goal of the game, leaving the home side to celebrate another excellent victory.
Bracknell Bees host Peterborough Phantoms tomorrow (Thursday, 7.45pm), before visiting the same opponents on Saturday (7pm). They then host Sheffield Steeldogs on Sunday (6pm).
