DAN Willis beat a field of around 90 players to win the Gascoigne Cup at East Berkshire.
The four-handicapper returned a gross 68 (nett 64) to claim the silverware on count-back from James Crawford (11hcp), while Nick Robinson (1hcp) took third with a nett 66.
The Bobby Locke Putter, a competition for players aged 55 and over , and the Noel Thompson Plate for those over 70 were contested by the men’s senior section with 60 members taking part.
The Locke Trophy was won by Kevin Smith (12hcp) with 39 points, one ahead of the runner-up, club captain Mike Bennett (14hcp).
John Kerr (17hcp) lifted the Thompson Plate with 38 points and Terry Edwards (14hcp) was the runner-up on 36.
East Berkshire ladies contested the Challenge Bowl, a 36-hole competition played over two weeks.
The winner was Amanda Bancroft (31hcp), returning a nett 61 and nett 72 for 133, with Gabi Heuchel (8hcp) the runner-up after returning 73 and 66 (139).
