STUDENTS and staff at Bohunt School in Wokingham are celebrating after their Under 13 girls were crowned national champions at the English Schools Football Association (ESFA) cup final.

In the final against St Peters, Bohunt, who were helped by Reading FC coaches, took the lead in the first half, with a goal from Mia Thomson, who had scored for Bohunt in every round of the competition.

In the second half, Thomson grabbed her 134th goal of the season, putting Bohunt 2-0 ahead with 30 minutes still left to play.
