Great Hollands beat Royal Household 76-67 in the Kennet League for a 12-2 points win.

The club’s KLV A team went down 50-32 to Wokingham B for an 8-2 points loss.

The B team won 66-52 against Maiden Erlegh B for an 8-2 points win.

The C team defeated Woodley B 59-46 for an 8-2 win on points. Roger Entwistle, Stan Nicholson and Derek Tickner had the highest winning rink of 22-9, while Henry Bone, Paul Chapman and Les Dykes won 24-19 with Colin Staunton-Lambert, Paul Damiano and George Auret losing 13-18.

Sunningdale

SUNNINGDALE retained the Ascot Cup after beating Windsor Great Park over two legs.

They lost the home leg by two shots, but a mammoth 27-shot win in the first leg was enough to secure the trophy for another season.

Highest scoring rink for Sunningdale was David Evans, Alf Chell and Brian Webb (skip).

Sunningdale defeated Crowthorne RBL 82-51 at home with a highest scoring rink of Peter Sparks (skip), Mike Bateman and on-loan Gill Broderick.
