TOP scorer Charlie Oakley was named as Sandhurst Town’s players’ player of the year at their presentation night on Saturday.

Dan Gosling – who topped the appearances chart with 33 – was named as manager’s player of the season.

The youth team manager’s and players’ player of the year was Ieaun Dimech, while the most improved player was defender Reiss John.

Former Woodley United manager Michael Herbert has been named as the new boss at the Fizzers for next season.

l JOSH Smith scored a memorable hat-trick and their were two goals apiece for Lawson Jones and Sam Evans as Ascot United Under 14 Youth hammered Chipstead 8-0.

Ashton Presscott completed the scoring.

The U18 Yankees played a double-header against Burpham Juniors U17s, drawing the first game 0-0 before they triumphed 3-0 in the second match.

An Aidan Holland goal was not enough for the U15 Youth as they went down 2-1 to Worcester Park Colts, while the U12 Diamonds eased past Barnes Eagles 4-0.
