WASHINDI Trampoline Club got off to an impressive start in their first league competition of the season.
The Crowthorne-based club saw a number of new competitors rise to the challenge.
Kofi Elhaggagi gained a podium place by finishing second in the boys’ 11-12 age group, while Harry Slatter came sixth at in the 9-10 years category.
In the 19+ women’s age group, Emily Sherratt and Laura Caswell finished 22nd and 29th respectively, while Ellie Stevenson and Chiara Hilton finished 15th and 21st in the 17-18 category.
In addition, Freya Marshall placed 43rd out of a huge group of 77 in the 13-14 age group, while Caitlin Witheridge came 49th in the 15-16 age group.
Several Washindi members moved up a difficulty level and performed exceptionally well Kipa Finney claimed the gold medal in league one in the 17+ male category, while Callum Gooding won silver in the 19+ male league two category.
Finally, Lydia Osborn (18th), Laura Caswell (25th)and Lauren Nield (21st ) gained creditable finishes on their debuts in league two.
