WASHINDI Trampoline Club enjoyed a successful afternoon at the first National Development Plan competition of the year in Milton Keynes, with 28 of their members qualifying for the next round in March.
The event comprised two sections with trampoline routines and a floor-based range and conditioning routine (R&C).
In the NDP 2 category, Ewan Bolt in the 9-10 boys’ section, Alex Pohjola (11-12), Owen Whittall (NDP 4, 11-12), Kofi Elhaggagi (NDP 5, 11-12), and Kips Fenney (NDP 6, 15+) all gained gold medals to finish top of the podium.
Three silver medals were awarded to Anna Wessendorff (NDP 2, 11-12 girls), Harry Slatter (NDP 3, 9-10 boys) and Lauren Nield (NDP, 6 13-14 girls).
Finally, two bronzes were collected by Tamsin Reddyhough (NDP 2, 9-10 girls) and Nia Slatter (NDP 4).
There was also a clean sweep with the disabilities’ category performers with Thomas Hue, Russell Cooper and Marsha Danilova all taking gold.
