BRACKNELL Athletic Under 16 Spitfires completed a double against Woodley with an impressive 6-3 win, writes Richard Ashton.

Frankie Warrington continued his fine goal-scoring form with a brace, while Will Kelley, Curtis McWilliam and man-of-the-match Agustin Mancini were also on the scoresheet.

Debutant Ethan Brock, Felix Pitt, Michael Lewis and David Ulimas got the goals as the U15 Devils overcame Pinewood 4-2, but the U14 Jaguars were beaten 11-5 by Eversley & California Storm in an extraordinary goal-fest and the U9 Razors were made to pay for a sloppy start as they lost 1-0 to Whitegrove.

The U12 All Starz Girls produced a stunning display to hammer Goring Robins 7-0, Alisa Shepherd grabbing a wonderful hat-trick, Chloe Sykes adding two, and Ella Steer and Charlotte Lancaster completing the rout. Eloise Lovell was the stand-out player, impressing in both attack and defence on the left wing.

Evie McDonagh and Paige Greenwood found the back of the net for the U9 Lunars Girls, who won two of their four games in a mini tournament.

  • YURI Cardosa bagged a brace and Franz Meyer, Thomas Madden, Jake McKnight and Alfie Branwhite were also on target as Ascot United Under 16 Royals hammered Hartley Wintney Junior Hawks 6-0.

But goals from Robbie Smith and Zach Braithwaite were not enough for the U16 Aces as they were edged out 3-2 by NPL Youth. A Rhys Hughes double and an Alex Eaton effort proved in vain as Ascot United U15 Racing lost 5-3 to Windsor Youth Swallows Warriors, with Ben Alderman named man of the match.

Cade Munden impressed for the U15 Eagles, but they were walloped 10-2 by NPL Youth, a Max Lundholm penalty and a goal from Kye Watmore merely consolations.

The U14 Hornets were too strong for Windsor Youth Harriers Gladiators, running out 4-2 winners.

Ascot U13 Aces overcame Windsor Youth Hawks Comets 5-3, while a Johnny Woodley treble and an own goal, aided by a Toby Holsgrove strike, gave the U13 Royals a 5-3 win against Wokingham & Emmbrook Oranges.

The U12 Raiders hammered Woodley Saints Wolves 6-0, and the U12 Charges secured a 1-0 success against Marlow United.
