SANDHURST Town’s excellent start to the Hellenic League Division One East campaign continued with a 6-0 demolition of rock bottom Chinnor on Saturday.

The third-placed Fizzers took a 12th-minute lead courtesy of Freddie Barron, and they doubled their advantage with an own goal shortly after.

Charlie Oakley made it 3-0 on 26 minutes, and five minutes after the break they added a fourth as Kylo Atkinson netted.

Miley Lee scored Sandhurst’s fifth in the 65th minute, before Dan Gosling completed the rout in injury time.

Sandhurst Town host Thames Valley League side Woodley United Royals in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy on Saturday (3pm).

  • COMBINED Counties League Division One leaders Eversley & California made it seven wins from eight games with a 5-0 drubbing of Fleet Spurs last Tuesday.

Eversley were by far the better side in all departments, and Sam Taylor put the hosts in front in the 35th minute before Lewis Robson extended the advantage early in the second half.

Joe Pantonov added the third before Robson completed his brace, with Sam Hutchings finishing off the goalscoring late on.

However, the Boars exited the FA Vase on Saturday as they were beaten 1-0 at Ringwood Town.

Eversley & California were due to visit CB Hounslow United in the Southern Combination Cup last night, before hosting Kensington Borough in the league on Saturday (3pm).

They then travel to Alresford Town in the Hampshire Senior Cup next Tuesday (7.45pm).
