DAN Housego made an unbeaten 88 to steer Division One champions Wokingham to a convincing eight-wicket victory at Falkland, writes Richard Ashton.

The Oaks restricted their opponents to 201-9 in their 50 overs, before Housego and Jack Wood (79no) put on an unbeaten 184 to win the match.

Tom Nichols top scored with 93, but fourth-placed Eversley (215) ended their Division 2a campaign with a seven-wicket loss at home to Kew.

Phil Higgs (3-16) and Usman Ijaz (3-24) bowled Hurst (218-8) to a 42-run victory against High Wycombe 2nds (176) in Division 2b, while Royal Ascot (189-7) lost to Aldershot (190-3) by three wickets.

Wokingham 2nds (157-6) secured the Division 3a title with a draw at home to runners-up Wargrave (215-7), Stuart Parsons cracking 97 for the Oaks.

Royal Ascot 2nds (170-8) clung on for a draw in their Division 4a game with runners-up High Wycombe 3rds (242-7), Murray Barter making 52 and Saeed Ahmed claiming 4-41.

Luke Casey scored 41 for Eversley 2nds (175), but the basement boys were beaten by eight wickets at Slough 3rds (177-2).

Bracknell completed a fifth straight Division 5b victory to finish the season in fourth, racing to a rapid nine-wicket success at home to Slough 4ths.

Imran Raja took 3-28 as the visitors were skittled for just 98, and Aman Talha (42no) blasted the ball to all parts as Bracknell chased their target in only 10.3 overs.

Muhammad Usman took 4-36, but Wokingham 3rds (100) ended their season with a 76-run defeat to Wargrave 2nds (176).

Relegated Royal Ascot 3rds (228-6) pulled off a superb run chase to beat Aldershot 3rds (227-6) by four wickets and with only four balls to spare in Division 6b.

Kelvin Baillie (59) and Tim Everitt (52) helped Hurst 2nds declare on 280-7 from 51 overs, setting them up for an emphatic 124-run victory against Sonning 2nds (156). Matt Morrison (6-58) was the destroyer-in-chief with the ball.

Bracknell 2nds’ (178-9) were relegated from Division 7a after they could only draw with Kidmore End 2nds (190-7).

Eversley 3rds (163-9) survived after drawing with North Maidenhead 3rds (222-9), but Wokingham 4ths (128) lost by five wickets to Theale & Tilehurst 2nds (129-5).

In Division 8a, Royal Ascot 4ths (139) lost to Theale & Tilehurst 3rds (217-4) by 78 runs, and in Division 9a, Wokingham 5ths (103) lost to Newbury 3rds (211-5) by 108 runs.
