DAN Housego (87) inspired Wokingham to a first Division One win of the campaign as they thrashed Marlow by 143 runs, writes Richard Ashton.

Archie Carter (66) and Stuart Hayter (47) were also among the runs as the Oaks amassed an impressive 303-9, and Paul Dewick (4-21) then proved the destroyer-in-chief as Marlow were bundled out for 160.

Wokingham host Boyne Hill this Saturday (1pm).

Eversley also kick-started their campaign with a seven-wicket cruise at Maidenhead & Bray.

Ronni Rezaul (4-18), Sam Glaze (3-5) and Matt Salter (3-9) did the damage as the hosts were skittled for just 89, and James Magowan’s unbeaten 41 guided the Boars home.

Eversley are at home to Kidmore End on Saturday (1pm).

Hurst suffered a second straight Division 2b defeat as they went down by 129 runs to Slough 2nds.

The visitors racked up 312-9 and then bowled their opponents out for 183.

Hurst host Burnham 2nds on Saturday (1pm).

Royal Ascot picked up their first win with a seven-wicket success at home to Sonning.

Kevin May (3-19) was the star performer as the visitors were knocked over for just 128, and Ascot eased home in 29 overs.

Royal Ascot visit Yateley on Saturday (1pm).

In Division 3a, Craig Beales (124) and Jack Wood (96) starred for Wokingham 2nds (274-5) as they dominated a draw against Chiswick & Whitton (167-7). Simon Andersson claimed 3-44 for the Oaks.

Royal Ascot 2nds (123-5) eased to a five-wicket Division 4a victory against Eversley 2nds (117), while in Division 5b, Wokingham 2nds (164) lost to Aldershot 2nds (199) by 35 runs.

Bracknell lost a high-scoring affair to Boyne Hill 2nds at Larges Lane.

The hosts totalled 245-6 with Imran Raja (81), Ian Shaw (43) and captain Syed Hussain (41) leading the charge, but a brilliant 111 from opener Najib Khan helped Boyne Hill chase the target down with three overs to spare.

Bracknell travel to Maidenhead & Bray 2nds this coming Saturday (1pm).

Phil Wiggins took 4-29 for Hurst 2nds (136), but they were beaten by 18 runs by Royal Ascot 3rds (154).

In Division 7a, Fleet 2nds (134-2) cruised to an eight-wicket victory against Bracknell 2nds.

Eversley 3rds edged out Wokingham 4ths by 15 runs in a cracker.

Jon Last (38) top scored as the Boars were bowled out for 158, but a superb spell of 5-29 by Saroj Singh ensured that Wokingham were dismissed for just 143 with seven balls of their innings remaining.

Nino Trapani (71) and Martin Kay (53) shone for Royal Ascot 4ths (213-9) as they beat Bagshot 3rds (145) by 68 runs in Division 8a. Omar Sheikh took 4-20 with the ball for Ascot.

Dan Heath made 76 for Wokingham 5ths (210-6) as they dominated a draw with Cookham Dean 4ths (86-9). Andy Bishop took 6-20 from 13 overs for the Oaks.

Eversley 4ths conceded their game against Cove 5ths.
