WOKINGHAM District Schools Under 11s saw their perfect Surrey League record come to an end after a 1-1 draw away to Sutton.
Wokingham had won all of their matches this season before the kick-off, but they dropped points for the first time this campaign against a tough Sutton side.
The visitors dominated the first half and took a deserved lead in sensational style when Brandon Kingsbury fired into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Wokingham remained on the front foot until half time, but their failure to add a second goal would ultimately prove costly.
The second half was a more even contest, with Nathaniel Muza going close for the visitors when his curling shot smacked against the post.
And Wokingham were made to pay for those missed opportunities when Sutton snatched an equaliser with five minutes to go.
Nevertheless, it was another strong performance from the Wokingham youngsters who will be determined to keep their unbeaten record in tact in 2017.
