WOKINGHAM & Emmbrook Oranges U14s had the better of their inter-club clash against Rangers with a 7-2 victory in East Berks Football Alliance Division Six.

Oranges’ man-of-the-match Josef Lamberton, above, led the way with an excellent hat-trick, while Kai Evans, James Starkey, Oliver Vickers plus an own goal sealed the win.

Daniel King and Tyler O’Reilly netted for Rangers.

  • HARRISON Cliff and Dan Martin-Cenzano got the goals as Ascot United Under 15 Youth beat Eldon Celtic 2-1 to reach the quarter finals of the County Cup.

Cameron Tait and Josh Betts scored as the U18 Aces beat Woking Town Jets 2-1, while a Dan De Mello strike and an own goal were not enough for the U16 Youth who lost 3-2 against Sutton United.

Josh Smith bagged a brace and Ashton Prescott was also on target as the U13 Youth beat Old Isleworth Reds 3-1.

The U12 Youth smashed Leatherhead Juniors 7-1, but it was a bad day for the U18 Spartans who were thumped 9-1 by Elstead Sharks. Nathan Evans got the consolation.

Cameron Gilbert netted for the U16 Royals in their 2-1 defeat to Albury Griffins, while the U15 Aces won a nine-goal thriller 5-4 against the U15 Royals. Jack Hobbs, Alex Good (penalty), Jack Jones, Daniel Martin-Cenzano and Sam Donachie were the goalscorers for the victors.

The U13 Galaxy won 4-0 against the U13 Rangers, while the U12 Royals thrashed the U12 Saints 7-1. Charlie Reuby helped himself to a hat-trick and Harry Jenkinson secured a double, with Toby Holsgrove and an own goal completing the rout. Will Wraight was on target for Royals.

An Ollie Thompson brace was not enough for the U12 Arrows as they lost 4-2 to Berks County Cobras, while the U18 Diamonds were given a bye to the semi finals of the County Cup after Wantage Town Girls conceded their game.
