UNBEATEN London Irish made it 11 Greene King IPA Championship wins in a row with a convincing 38-10 bonus-point victory at Rotherham Titans.

The win keeps Exiles seven points ahead of Yorkshire Carnegie in second place as they look to secure an immediate return to the Aviva Premiership.

Nick Kennedy's men soaked up everything Titans could thrown at them and hit back with five tries of their own with both Joe Cokanasiga and Tommy Bell grabbing a brace and replacement scrum-half Scott Steele also going over.

Irish made seven changes from the side that defeated Jersey Reds for the trip to south Yorkshire.

They took the lead through an early Bell penalty then went further ahead when 19-year-old winger Cokanasiga shrugged off three would-be tacklers to crash over in the corner after a well-worked lineout. Bell slotted an excellent conversion to put his side 10-0 up.

Cokanasiga then turned provider for Irish's second try, the teenage powerhouse sucking in two Titans defenders before offloading to Bell on the inside. Bell embellished his own touchdown by adding the extras to increase the lead to 17-0.

However, Rotherham hit back strongly as hooker Joe Graham burrowed over from a driving lineout before Caolan Ryan landed the conversion.

Then Irish indiscipline at the breakdown and in the scrum cost them another three points in the form of a Ryan penalty to leave them trailing 17-10 at the interval.

But Kennedy's men regrouped during the break and made a storming start to the second half as Bell crossed the whitewash for his second try of the day which he duly converted.

It was no more than the Devon man deserves after a superb display at full-back, with James Marshall returning to fly-half.

Exiles secured the bonus point before the hour was up thanks to another Cokanasiga score. This time he coasted over out wide following a slick team move involving Ciaran Hearn and Mike Coman, allowing Bell to slot the conversion for a 31-10 lead.

There was still time for Irish to put the icing on the cake with try number five.

Steele showed quick feet to latch onto Hearn's grubber kick to cross near the posts and leave Bell with a straightforward conversion to seal another impressive victory – their 13th in all competitions this season.

Irish will be back in action at Madejski Stadium this Sunday when they host Cornish Pirates in the British & Irish Cup (3pm ko).
