BERKS County climbed to seventh in the Premier Division following a fine 3-1 home victory against Woodley United Reserves, writes Richard Ashton.

The Swords fell behind to Adam King’s 18th-minute strike, but second-half efforts from Mark Duffett, Tony Langton and substitute Connor Banks turned the game on its head.

Frank Sillah and Richard Bond were on target for Wraysbury Village as they drew 2-2 with Rotherfield United, while Highmoor Ibis Reserves edged past Taplow United 1-0.

Wes Sutherland bagged a superb hat-trick as Marlow United moved into the third round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup following an 8-3 drubbing of Stokenchurch.

Jo Da Silva, Aaron Doyle, Jake Kozak, Dennis Browne and Ollie Flint completed the rout.

A Ryan Adams double helped Reading YMCA defeat AFC Wallingford 2-0, Hurst were thrashed 5-1 by FC Beaconsfield, and Unity scraped through 7-6 on penalties following a 1-1 draw at Long Wittenham Athletic.

Newbury crashed out following a 3-0 home defeat to Kintbury Rangers, Winnersh Rangers won 5-4 at Bracknell Town Under 21s, Penn & Tylers Green defeated Frilsham & Yattendon 3-0 and Nikos Chrysikopoulos, Christian Dowling and Alex Sergent were on target as Westwood United overcame Letcombe 3-2.

Recardo Delgado grabbed a brace and Sheldon Mayers-Best, Mushe Richardson and Sam Whitlock were also on target as Eldon Celtic won 5-3 at FC Imaan Reserves in Division One, Kamran Khan scoring twice for the hosts and Sabeel Ashgar getting the other.

Rich Harling, Aaron Holland and Dave Hyde got the goals as Maidenhead Town drew 3-3 with Maidenhead Magpies, Reading YMCA Rapids thrashed AFC Corinthians 7-0 and Cookham Dean Reserves won 2-0 at Mortimer Reserves.

In Division Two, White Eagles leapfrogged Finchampstead Reserves into second place after beating them 3-1.

Bartosz Pachulski, Bartosz Rochatka and Jacek Bojda got the goals for Eagles.

Sheridan Kennedy grabbed a brace and Danny Nicholson was also on the scoresheet as Westwood United Reserves won 3-2 at Burghfield FC, Dominic McKenzie getting both of the hosts’ goals.

Barkham Athletic edged a nine-goal thriller 5-4 at Goring United, Maidenhead Magpies Reserves eased past Highmoor U21 4-1 and Wargrave downed Taplow United Reserves 3-0.

Andy Miller was on target for Brimpton but his goal didn’t stop Division Three leaders Berks County Reserves making it five wins from five with a 2-1 triumph.

A Ronnie Groom double and goals from Sam Cripps, Lewis Doe, Billy Gale and Jake Brown gave Woodley United A a 6-3 victory at Ashridge Park, while Richard Lukacs and Aaron Susans both netted as Newbury Reserves earned a 2-2 draw at Harchester Hawks.

Albert Dziegiel and Robert Ignaczak struck for White Eagles Reserves in their 2-2 home draw with Hurst Reserves, and Unity Reserves beat YPFC 3-1.

Jordan Sawyer struck a hat-trick and Ibrahim Koroma and Craig Choules were also on the scoresheet as Division Four front-runners South Reading won 5-2 at Woodley United B.

A Mikey Jones double and goals from Michael Buckle and replacement Ryan Jansen gave Twyford & Ruscombe a comfortable 4-0 success at home to Goring United Reserves, while Dean Cherrett, Brendon Buckley and Asher Price struck for Hurst A in a 3-0 win at Berks County Rovers.

Oliver Borst scored for Taplow United A, but they were beaten 2-1 by AFC Corinthians A, while a Martin Bradshaw brace inspired Braybrooke to a 6-0 demolition of The Hop Leaf. Jack Kendall, Will Bremner, Darren Barton-Taylor and an own goal completed a one-sided affair.
