SOUTH Berkshire men made it two MBBO Division One victories from two games as they eased to a 5-2 home win against Sonning 2nds, writes Richard Ashton.

Will Simpson bagged a brace and Neil Bennett, Daniel Ray and Ben Dudley completed the scoring for the hosts, while Ian Gallagher got both of the goals for Sonning.

South Berkshire travel to another side with a perfect record – Witney – this Saturday.

Struggling South Berkshire 2nds suffered a 12-0 thumping at early-season pace-setters Newbury & Thatcham 2nds.

Ben Cook helped himself to five goals, Ian Anderson and Nick Barrett bagged doubles and the rout was completed by Matt Burnett, Dan Fernandes and Josh Morris.

In Division Three, Tom Pullen and Ashley Holden were on target as South Berkshire 3rds shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw at home to Windsor, for whom Matt Bullard and Alex Wright netted.

A Mark Peel brace helped South Berkshire 4ths to a 2-1 win at West Hampstead 7ths in Division Five.

South Berkshire 5ths went down to a 4-1 defeat at Slough Swifts in Division Seven.

In the Trysports Three Counties League Premier One, South Berkshire ladies lost 2-1at Sonning.

They host Aylesbury this Saturday.

In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds lost 3-0 to Bicester, while South Berkshire 3rds lost 9-0 to Reading University 4ths.
