SOUTH Berks Ladies won their first Trysports Three Counties League Premier One game of the season with a 3-1 home victory against Sonning 2nds.
The team – which was formed following the merger of Bracknell and Wokingham hockey clubs during the summer – host Amersham and Chalfont this Saturday.
In Premier Two, South Berkshire 2nds drew 2-2 with Amersham & Chalfont 2nds.
The 3rds beat Milton Keynes 3rds 4-2 in Division Three, but the 4ths were thrashed 6-0 by Oxford Fireflies in Division Four.
South Berkshire Men begin their MBBO Division One campaign against the club’s 2nds.
