ST Neot’s school cross country teams enjoyed a successful day at Lord Wandsworth College recently.

With more than 80 runners in each race the Under 9 girls and U9 boys’ teams both came third overall.

The U11 boys came second and the U11 girls won their competition. The combined results meant the Eversley-based school were able to secure joint first place overall, sharing the much-coveted Millennium Cup with Elvetham Heath School.

Delighted deputy head of sport Sally Reed said: “The St Neot’s team had an amazing afternoon with some fantastic individual and team performances. The pupils worked hard, supported each other and we were delighted to finish as joint winners.”
