WOKINGHAM gave their MBBO Regional Two survival hopes a big boost with a 3-2 victory against fellow strugglers Phoenix & Ranelagh, writes Richard Ashton.

Tom King scored twice at Cantley Park, with Nathan Desmond also on target for the home side. Jonty Merry and Martin Newell got the goals for Phoenix.

Wokingham host Banbury 2nds on Saturday.

Basement boys Bracknell picked up a point in their home game with ninth-placed Oxford Hawks 3rds.

Rob Pace and the prolific Daniel Ray were on target for the hosts, but Ed Baldock and Cameron Saint earned Oxford the draw.

Bracknell travel to Milton Keynes 2nds this coming Saturday.

Wokingham 2nds beat Oxford 5ths 5-3 in a MBBO Division Three thriller.

Duncan Clarke netted twice for Wokingham, with Stephen Bearpark, Ryan Kaley and Matt Taylor also on the scoresheet.

Seb Thompson, Gareth Williams and Kyle Walker scored for the visitors.

In Division Four, Oliver Lovegrove bagged a consolation for Bracknell 2nds but they were obliterated 9-1 at Amersham & Chalfont 2nds.

Wokingham 3rds lost 3-1 at Slough Swifts (pictured) in Division Seven,.

In Division Eight East Bracknell 3rds lost 3-2 at Harrow 2nds, while Bracknell Terriors kept their Division Eight West title hopes alive with a fine 4-2 victory against Thame 2nds.

Bracknell Ladies were thumped 6-0 by Oxford Ladies 2nds in their Trysports Three Counties League Premier One clash, while Wokingham were dismissed by the same scoreline against Oxford University 2nds.

Bracknell travel to Sonning 2nds this Saturday, while Wokingham host Oxford Hawks 3rds.

In Division Two, Wokingham 2nds were crushed 7-0 at Banbury 3rds, while Bracknell 2nds were outclassed 4-0 at Abingdon 2nds in Division Three.
