BRACKNELL Men were thumped 6-0 at Phoenix & Ranelagh as their difficult MBBO Regional Two season continued, writes Richard Ashton.

Phil Browne and Martin Newell both scored twice and Steve Eastman and Atif Nasim were also on target for the home side.

The result leaves Bracknell in 10th place in the table, having won just two of their eight games.

Second-bottom Wokingham were also beaten as they slipped to a 2-0 home defeat to British Airways, Jaspal Dhamrait and Aman Matharu doing the damage for the visitors.

Bracknell and Wokingham clash at Birch Hill Recreation Ground this coming Saturday (noon).

Wokingham 2nds were edged out 2-1 by West London in MBBO Division Three. Ryan Kaley scored for the Cantley Park side, but goals from Umair Maan and Tauseef Nazqui secured the spoils for the visitors.

In Division Four, in-form Tom Pullen hit a hat-trick to take his tally for the season to 12 goals as Bracknell 2nds cruised past Phoenix & Ranelagh 2nds 4-1. Tom Scott grabbed the other goal for the home side.

Wokingham 3rds were thrashed 6-1 by Abingdon 2nds in Division Seven.

Bracknell 3rds beat Amersham & Chalfont 4ths in Division Eight East, while Bracknell Terriors overcame Newbury & Thatcham 4ths by the same score in Division Eight West.

Bracknell Ladies claimed local bragging rights as they eased to a 3-0 win against Wokingham in their Trysports Three Counties League Premier One encounter.

Bracknell travel to Sonning this coming Saturday, while Wokingham host table-topping Reading 2nds.

In Division Two, Wokingham picked up their first point of the season at the ninth time of asking with a 1-1 draw at home to Oxford Hawks 5ths.

Struggling Bracknell 2nds were thumped 5-1 by Maidenhead 4ths in Division Three, while rock bottom Wokingham 3rds crashed to a 3-1 home defeat to Oxford 6ths in Division Five.
