SANDHURST kept their faint Premier Division survival hopes alive with a five-wicket win at home to Crowthorne & Crown Wood.

The visitors – who looked champions elect before falling to four consecutive defeats – were shot out for 102, and captain Adam Birch made 33 in reply as the Camels cruised to victory.

That result enabled Sulhamstead to clinch a second title in three years after they annihilated free-falling Ruislip Victoria by 190 runs.

James Williams (61no), Marc Thompson (57) and Jamie Seward (46no from 23 balls) helped Sully to an imposing 234-3, the visitors accelerating superbly towards the end of their innings.

Wynand Lamprecht (145) made a club record score and was aided by Andy Watts (64), Max Baker-Smith (40) and Rich Ashton (39 off 16 balls) as PSR amassed a huge 325-6.

However, a stubborn effort from Reyhan Ul-Din (50no) and an explosive late cameo from Zain Raja (53no) took Woodley to 211-7, despite Roy Hayden taking 3-34.

Woodcote all but secured their survival with a nail-biting three-wicket win at home to Mortimer West End.

Abrar Pewakar (42) and Jamie Stead (39) batted well for the visitors but a fine spell from Raja Rafaqat (4-29) restricted West End to 168-8.

BCS Grosvenor continued their resurgence with a sixth straight success in a three-wun win at home to West Reading.

Hafeez Ul-Wahab (5-55) impressed for Wests, but useful knocks from Atif Asif (43) and Mohammed Shakeel (42) took BCS to 176-6.

Sultan Khan (38) top scored in reply, but Ehtsham Iqbal (5-36) put Wests on the ropes, and they lost to a penultimate ball run out.

Division One table-toppers Emmbrook & Bearwood had to settle for a winning draw against promotion hopefuls Goring-on-Thames.

Alistair Fairhead (64no), Steve Bendall (43) and Richard Cole (40no) took the hosts to 250-7, with Goring reaching 154-7 in reply.

Welford Park climbed into second with a convincing 10-wicket thrashing of West Reading 2nds.

Checkendon remain in the promotion chase following a winning draw against Stratfield Turgis.

John Acland-Hood (53) and Ashish Talreja (51) led the war as Checks posted 192, with Andy Headford (4-21) the pick of the attack.

Peppard Stoke Row 2nds face relegation after losing their bottom-of-the-table clash at home to Bradfield by six wickets.

Alex Brunwin (3-38) starred as PSR slumped to 128-9, but a fighting rearguard from Chris Proudfoot (57no) and Ian Jackson saw them close on 171-9.

However, that total proved insufficient as Paul Hale (40) and captain Mark Bolton (36no) guided their side to the win.
