It was quite a haul for the team of four competitors who were ably led by their coach Mark Fricker as they delivered in the Welsh capital.
Noah Jones got things off to a good start with some great judo, eventually losing just one fight to a capable opponent to take silver in the U34kg U13s category.
Dan Franklin followed that up with a masterclass as he didn’t put a foot wrong as he took gold in the U48kg U13s section.
Terri Gough then landed two silver medals with fine performances in the U13s and also the older pre cadet section, both at U48kg.
With four medals secured, Wade Muttit was last in action for Pinewood and he didn’t disappoint as he took two golds to end the day on a massive high.
He won the U34kg before moving up to the next weight at U48kg and also securing gold in that.
Muttit fought against at a large weight disadvantage but his intelligence allowed him the time to throw a good range of moves to come out on top.
