They will now look to secure the double on Friday when they compete in the Senior Cup final against third placed Golden Farmer Rangers.

Finchampstead Athletic Sunday completed their fixtures with a 4-1 win against 3M FC before being awarded victory against Rangers.

The two victories mean Finch secured their best finish in the top division for years, grabbing the runners-up spot behind Fernhill on goal difference.

Finch can now make it an exceptional season if they can lift the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup on Sunday at Abingdon Town FC (10.30am).

In Division One, Sunningdale & Wentworth Reserves are champions following their 1-0 victory over Winkfield FC last Thursday.

They too can secure a double as they look to defend the Junior Cup they currently hold when they face Division Two side Braybrooke Athletic in the final on Friday, May 8.

Sunningdale are also in the hunt for a place in the final of the Goalscorers Cup, another trophy they are current holders of, but they had a difficult task racking up goals against a resolute AFC Crowthorne side, eventually earning a 3-1 win.

Chris Hollis got Sunningdale off to a great start, rifling into the top corner after only five minutes, but Crows then found their feet and the lively Josh Wood was soon causing mayhem in the Sunningdale defence.

Ossie Manwengwa in the Crowthorne defence was having a super game and any time Sunningdale created a space he was there to fill it with a block or a tackle.

It took the visitors until the 70th minute to double their lead when Dan Drew drilled the ball through a crowded box, giving Crows keeper Josh Edward no chance, and soon after Ben Lawrence made it 3-0 with a brave close-range header following a goalmouth scramble.

On chances created, however, Crows could have been in front before then, but Harri King finally managed to reduce the deficit with a neat finish just before the end.

Cannie Man beat Winkfield 4-2 and with it sealed the runners-up spot.

Dan Newell, Craig Newell, Ricky Belo and Stuart Corfield netted for Cannie whilst Marc Campbell scored twice for Winks.

Bracknell Manics sealed third spot but Bracknell Celtic missed the chance to grab fourth after drawing 4-4 with Parks FC.

Jordan Alleyne came off the bench to grab a brace for Celtic, with Sam Potter and Will Pangborn netting the other goals.

Winkfield will grab fourth spot and leapfrog Celtic if they can win their final game.

A Phil Molyneux goal wasn’t enough for Bracknell Falcons as they lost 2-1 to Waverley Rangers to remain bottom, but with three games left, one more win will take them above Warfield United who have now finished all their fixtures.

Sandhurst FFC are another side in the chase for a place in the Goalscorers Cup, and they now sit top of Division Two after their 5-2 victory over bottom side Woodley Hammers.

The best Berks County can now achieve will be third place following their 4-2 win at Hope & Anchor, whilst Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW finished their season with a 2-1 win at home to Winnersh Town.

Braybrooke Athletic still sit in second spot, needing maximum points from their remaining two games to grab the title.

It is set up for a grandstand finish as their final game of the season is at home to Sandhurst FFC on Sunday, May 10, which looks likely to be a title decider.

In Division Three, champions Whitegrove FC shared the goals around as they finished their season with a 6-0 rout of Winnersh Town Reserves.

Lee Kilmartin, Ben Poynter, Shane Rettie, Ethan Churchill, Jack Gale and Justin Sawyer were all on target for Whitegrove.

Elsewhere, Parks FC hit six against Winnersh Rangers in a convincing 6-1 victory that ended their season in style.

Berkshire All Stars have secured the runners-up spot and finished the campaign five points behind Whitegrove.
