BRACKNELL Towns' players have been warned that nobody's place in the side is secure for the promotion run-in.

Robins are playing major catch-up after falling nine games and 23 points behind Hellenic Division One East leaders Rayners Lane.

As a result, joint-player managers Steve Nebbett and Danny Oliphant have been busy rebuilding their squad in preparation for the hectic schedule ahead.

And Nebbett is sending out a strong message to his players that those who feature in a winning team will automatically stay in the side - regardless of a player's reputation.

Speaking exclusively to the News, he said: "We're now in a position where we have such a big squad the players have to earn and keep the shirt.

"If someone can't play for whatever reason and another players comes in and does well, they will remain in the team.

"I've been in teams where players automatically expect to start every game and I don't think that works. I've got to be fair to everybody and that's what I intend to do."
