A SUPERB all-round performance earned Bracknell Bees their first ever win at Manchester Phoenix on Saturday evening.
Lukas Smital and Martin Masa got the goals in the second period to give the in-form Bees a memorable 2-0 victory.
The man-of-the-match award went to netminder Carl Ambler after another impressive display saw him keep out 42 shots.
Unfortunately Bees could not do the double over Phoenix as they lost 3-1 at The Hive on Sunday evening.
Joachim Flaten, Tony Hand and James Archer were all on target for the visitors while Smital got the only goal for the hosts.
