BRACKNELL Bees bounced back from a 6-4 defeat at Slough Jets on Saturday evening to beat Swindon Wildcats on penalties at The Hive.
The first clash of the weekend was a hard-hitting encounter that saw a number of players require treatment and Martin Masa taken to hospital after he was hit in the face by a puck.
But ultimately it was Jets who came out on top, always holding the advantage after scoring three unanswered goals in the opening period.
Strikes from Rob Lamey, Jan Bendik, Alan Lack and Lukas Smital gave Bees hope but they could not draw level.
A bruised Bees' squad were forced to penalties on Sunday after goals from Marcel Petran and Masa were cancelled out a Jonas Hoog double.
Smital scored with Bees' fifth attempt to clinch the two points and halt the home side's losing run.
