The offenders, all wearing black clothes and balaclavas made off with a Chanel handbag, Rolex and a Playstation 4 when disturbed by other returning to the caravan.

Det Con Amy Holden from Reading Force CID said: “This was undoubtedly a frightening ordeal for the young woman involved and I would like to speak to anyone who can help us to trace the offenders.

“Burglary is an incredibly distressing crime for victims and police will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice and prevent them from offending again.

“There is plenty of crime prevention advice on the Thames Valley Police website for home-owners to help them to protect themselves and their property from burglars.

“Particularly as the weather starts to get warmer, windows and doors are sometimes left open, but it is vital that residents do not leave them unlocked and unattended, as opportunistic criminals may strike.” The crime took place between 10.50pm and 11.10 on Tuesday April 28.
