At about 12.30pm on Friday, October 10, an altercation took place between a 38-year-old woman and a man in the vicinity of Barkham Road, where the woman was punched in the face and sustained bruising as a result.
The man is described as black, tall, with long hair and of medium build. He was driving a Vauxhall Vivaro.
PC David Wren, from the Wokingham neighbourhood team, said: “This incident took place on quite a busy street and I am keen to hear from anyone that may have been in the area and witnessed this assault or seen any suspicious activity.” Anyone with information should call PC Wren from Loddon Valley Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
- A 48-year-old man, from Wokingham, has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been bailed until Saturday, November 22, pending further enquiries.
