Residents take to the polls to cast their votes in the European elections

Polling stations across Wokingham Borough will be open today for European elections, with some local seats up for grabs.

Seats in 18 out of the borough’s 25 wards are being contested, with polls open 7am-10pm.

Both the leader of the council, Cllr David Lee, and deputy Leader, Cllr Rob Stanton, are up for re-election.

Residents will be able to vote in the European elections at the same time.

Local polling station should be on your polling card. You should bring the card with you, but you can still vote without it.
