POLICE are appealing for anyone who may be able to help in tracing the owner of some golf clubs.

The golf club set seized on Sunday

They were recovered on Sunday May 11, after police received reports of a man trying to sell a golf club set to the public in Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley, at around 8.30pm.

The items were seized, and a man from Wokingham was arrested and bailed until Monday June 9.

Investigating officer, PC Paul Bentley, said: “I am keen to reunite the owner of the golf clubs as these have distinctive bags with them.”

If you have any information about the owner, contact PC Bentley at Wokingham police station via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
