Fire crews from Wokingham and Whitley Wood were called to King Street Lane at about 5.50pm, where two cars had been involved in the collision.
The woman had to be cut free from her vehicle, with crews cutting the roof off.
She had to be removed using a spinal board.
Paramedics treated the woman on the scene but the took her to Royal Berkshire Hospital for further treatment.
Police were also in attendance, closing the road for about an hour.
