FRUSTRATED motorists and traders alike have suffered from the traffic "shambles" in Wokingham town centre since Broad Street was closed earlier this month.
The main route from the town centre towards Reading is shut while South East Water installs a water main as part of its ongoing �2million overhaul of the town's water system.
The road is due to be closed for a further six weeks but worried business owners have expressed their concern over the long-term impact the work will have on the town's customers.
Jason Oslar, from Oslar Coffee in Denmark Street, said: "It's definitely disrupted business and I think it's putting people off coming into the town.
"We've done ok but I've had customers coming in moaning about it every day of the week.
