TWO public meetings will take place this afternoon (Wednesday January 30) for residents keen to learn more about the future of Wokingham.
PLANS to redevelop Eustace Crescent will be on display at a drop-in session at The Cornerstone, in Norreys Avenue, from 4-8pm.
Later on, the South Wokingham community forum will take place in the Bradbury Centre, Rose Street, and starts at 6pm.
It will discuss the future infrastructure of south Wokingham, where 2,500 houses are expected to be built by 2026.
The houses are set to be built as part of the South Wokingham SDL (Strategic Development location), which covers land at Buckhurst Farm, south of London Road and north of the railway line) and land extending between the borough boundary with Bracknell Forest in the east and Finchampstead Road in the west.
