M4 delays after smash

THERE were minor delays on the M4 this afternoon (Wednesday) after two cars smashed into the side of the motorway.
A Volvo veered into the hard shoulder and a BMW crashed into the central reservation on the eastbound carriageway between junction 10 and junction 8/9 at 4pm.
One of the two male drivers was treated for shock at the scene and both were unharmed.
The carriageway was closed for five minutes.
Firefighters from Wokingham and Wokingham Road stations attended, as well as an ambulance.
